Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the owner of Slovakia’s third largest shopping center Aupark Bratislava, is in the final stage of talks on selling the center to local investment group Wood & Company (Vladimír Jaroš, Jan Sýkora and Ľubomír Šoltýs), say media sources. The price for the 58,000 sqm center is €500m. The current owner is in financial distress and is trying to raise €3bn from its shareholders and sell €4bn in assets.
In 2018, Wood & Co bought three office buildings in Bratislava: the Aupark Tower, Lakeside Park and BBC5. It also owns Chirana T.Injecta, Saneca Pharmaceuticals and Kosit.
