Webasto building a new plant in Lozorno

German automotive supplier Webasto will create 220 jobs at its new electric car battery assembly plant in Lozorno. The batteries will be supplied for SUV models produced by the nearby Volkswagen plant. The plant already employs 50 people.

Webasto employs 700 people in Veľký Meder in making roof systems for convertible cars for brands such as Daimler and Audi. Last year, the plant posted sales of €139m.
