Váhostav will build two of three D3 sections

A consortium of Váhostav, Metrostav DS and Duna Aszfalt submitted the lowest bid of €398.7m for the 11 km D3 highway stretch between Žilina and Kysucké Nové Mesto—€109m below the estimate by NDS. The same consortium also placed the cheapest bid for the Oščadnica–Čadca section. A Doprastav-led consortium submitted a €406.7m bid, while Budimex proposed €427.3m.
