Ukrainian poultry processor EU Poultry grows rapidly

Poultry processor EU Poultry (Dmytro Borodavka) posted a net profit of €3.5m last year (it broke even in 2021) and doubled sales to €106.2m. It is export-oriented and only 25% of output remains in Slovakia. It has a long-term partnership with MHP, one of the biggest players in Ukrainian agriculture and poultry processing. MHP sends poultry to Slovakia, where it is processed, packaged, and sent on to Europe. It is investing in a new factory where it wants to produce higher value-added foods, such as packaged poultry cutlets.
