Tata AutoComp System acquires Slovak plants of IAC Group

Auto components maker Tata AutoComp Systems, whose Indian owner Tata Group owns Jaguar Land Rover with a plant in Nitra, acquired Slovak automotive interior and exterior components maker IAC Group from its Luxembourg owners. The Slovak IAC plants in Lozorno and Šurany had €180m in sales last year. Its clients include the Slovak plants of JLR and Volkswagen. Price was not disclosed. The move supports Tata’s ambitious growth plans in Europe. (outlookbusiness.com) Baker McKenzie and Slovak law firm Marek Partners advised Tata AutoComp Systems on the acquisition.
