Subsidies for wind power plants

The Economy Ministry will publish the first call for investment subsidies for wind power plants in April, the second will follow in February 2023. The money will come from the EU Recovery Fund and the plants must be built by the end of 2026. It registers over ten projects in various phases with an installed capacity of almost 500 MW. The Ministry is also trying to simplify the permit process for plants with installed output below 2 MW, they will no longer need a certificate of compliance with energy policy and other documents. Investors are calling for simplification of the environmental impact assessment process.
