Slovakia’s employment rate among the 20 to 64-year-olds rose to a record high last year and was higher compared to the EU’s average of 75.8%, Eurostat reported. It was the highest in the Netherlands (83.5%) and lowest in Italy (67.1%). Employment rates:

Slovakia’s over-qualification rate was 20.4%, compared to the EU average of 21.3%. Over-qualification is when people with tertiary education are employed in occupations that do not require it.
