Slovakia is the 5th-best country to launch a startup, according to the Global Startup Index 2023 study by Business Name Generator. Czechia tops the ranking. The study took into account taxes, GDP growth or the cost of starting a business. Slovakia scores well in labor costs and proximity to the startup ecosystems in Prague, Budapest, and Munich.
