Slovakia has 10th-lowest tax-to-GDP ratio in EU

Slovakia had the 10th-lowest tax-to-GDP ratio in the EU last year, Eurostat reported. It rose 4.4 points over the last decade, the highest growth in the region. The ratio stood at 40.0% in the EU in 2023, down from 40.9% in 2013. It was the highest in France (45.6%) and the lowest in Ireland (22.7%). The tax-to-GDP in neighboring countries:
