Slovak economic outlook 2nd-worst in the EU

Slovakia came up 2nd-worst after Hungary in the Economist weekly’s ranking of EU economies on five criteria: demand, debt, demographics, decarbonization, and decoupling from autocracies. Ireland, Malta, and Cyprus fare best, with France the best performer among the large economies. The weekly considers these criteria to be the biggest challenges facing European economies in the future.
