Siemens acquired HMH, which develops software safety systems for rail transport
Tomáš Horváth sold his HMH company, which develops software safety systems for rail transport, to Siemens. Last year, the 80-strong firm doubled its net profit to €3.7m and sales rose 71% to €10.3m. The new owner wants to develop the company further. Its systems are used in Czechia, Hungary, and Poland in addition to Slovakia, and it aims to penetrate other markets in Eastern Europe. In addition to Siemens, clients include Alstom, Bombardier, Stadler, Deutsche Bahn, and ÖBB.
