Sensoneo nearly doubled its sales in 2023 and keeps expanding

Smart waste management firm Sensoneo (Martin Basila) broke even last year and nearly doubled its sales to €8.5m. Its sensors, which measure fill-levels in bins, are used in Madrid, for example, where they are part of the world's largest smart waste installation, with 11,000 bins. In total, its solutions are deployed in 85 countries. It employs 130 and has just opened a new office in Brno, CR, where it plans to gradually recruit 30 people. Last summer, it raised €6.2m from investors.
