Schaeffler is investing in electromobility solutions in Slovakia

The Kysucké Nové Mesto-based plant of German automotive supplier Schaeffler invested €33.5m in 2020 and another €42.5m last year, mainly in the development and production of electromobility solutions. Together with the plant in Skalica, they employ 10,000 and have annual sales of over €1bn. It specializes in electric car drives, with customers including Audi and Porsche. It employs a hundred engineers in the product development center and will add another 250 in 2023. It is investing €20m in the center.
