Samsung expands again in Slovakia

The Galanta plant of Samsung that makes displays and TV sets, improved its net profit 24% last year to €56.9m, and sales soared 30% to €1.6bn. Back in 2012, its sales stood at €3.6bn. Samsung closed its Voderady plant in 2020 and has been considering shifting production to Hungary, but apparently changed plans. The plant benefits from pent-up demand after the pandemic.
