Russian hackers ran a series of DDoS brute force attacks on several websites in Slovakia on Thursday, the national security authority NBÚ reported. The coordinated cyber attacks aimed to disable access to websites and services, but they succeeded only to a limited extent and for two hours. Targets included the Bratislava airport, financial institutions Wüstenrot, PSS, and Privatbanka, Webglobe hosting, the Slovakia Ring race track, and several taxi services.
