Prices of new apartments on offer in Bratislava are 16% higher annually

Just 1,700 new apartments were on offer in Bratislava at the end of September, close to an all-time low, 17% less quarterly and 18% less annually, Lexxus data show. Only 206 new apartments came to the market in the 3Q, 80% fewer than in 2Q. About 560 new apartments were sold, 44% below the 2Q figure. The demand is limited by an unattractive supply and increasing prices. The prices of apartments on offer are 16% higher annually, at €3,817 per sqm with VAT. Fully 40% of projects on the market increased list prices in 3Q.

The number of old apartments for sale in Bratislava fell 9% during 3Q and their prices rose 8% annually to €3,577 per sqm.
