Porsche invests in Horná Streda

Car maker Porsche signed an agreement with the Economy Ministry for a €300m investment in Horná Streda, which will create 300 jobs. This is the third phase of its investment in the local industrial park. The company plans to start assembling battery modules for the electric Porsche Cayenne model there in 2025. The government last week allocated €28m for the park’s infrastructure and granted it significant investment status to speed up the permitting process.
