Minit is building a new €10m bakery plant

Minit (Ambrovics family), a frozen bakery products maker, plans to build a new €10m plant in Kostolné Kračany next to the new large Chipita bakery plant (part of the Mondelēz group). It supplies frozen pastries to supermarkets and has 450 small franchise stores in Slovakia and Czechia. The new factory will employ 100 people; currently it has 330 staff. The new production is to be exported to Hungary and Bulgaria. Last year, Minit almost tripled its net profit to €0.9m and its sales rose 24% to €26.7m. Together with its Ambropek bakery for fresh bread, its sales came to €35m.
