Milan Dubec wants a chain of local news sites

Businessman Milan Dubec has acquired a 65% stake in regional news portal Žilinak.sk from founders, Marek Fišera and Tomáš Ďurana. He plans to build similar regional news portals in other regional capitals too as he believes in the potential of local media. Dubec has a 13% stake in Ringier Slovakia that runs azet.sk and aktuality.sk sites. He is also active in real estate development via his company Reinoo.
