Matador Automotive Vráble invests massively

Matador Automotive Vráble, an automotive supplier wholly owned by Portuguese group Sodecia, invested €20m in welding and pressing technologies for car body parts at its plant in Nitra over the past two years. It spent another €10m on joining technologies at a plant in Vráble. Clients include Audi, Mercedes, Tesla and Porsche. The investments boosted employment at both sites by 100 to 1,300. Last year, the company reported sales of €218m and a net profit of €8.4m.
