Koval landed a €60m contract from BAE

Machinery firm Koval Systems (Andrea Kovalová, Michal Šubín and Eduard Koval) from Beluša will participate in the production of the Swedish CV90 armored vehicle for the Slovak Army. Thanks to its new €60m contract, it will invest €10m in a new hall and create 60 jobs. Starting in early 2024, it will produce the vehicle's turret and other components. It reported €19.2m sales in 2021.

In total, 30-40 Slovak companies should participate in the production of the vehicle. Sweden will deliver 152 vehicles for €1.7bn.
