Just 46% of Slovaks prefer a pro-Western geopolitical orientation

Some 46% of Slovaks prefer a pro-Western geopolitical orientation, 40% would opt for a balanced position between Russia and the West, and 8% want Slovakia to side with Russia, according to a survey by Mnforce, Seesame and SAV. The pro-Western attitudes have grown from 26% in 2014. Geopolitical orientation towards the West grows with education, and the preference for a balanced position grows with age.
