Italian mafia is back

Italian national Antonino Vadala is starting up a cattle farm in Beša near Michalovce through his company Prodest. In the past, he was very close to Smer (he did business with Robert Fico's mistress Mária Trošková) and in 2019, Italian courts sentenced him to nine years for smuggling cocaine from South America. However, the conviction was later overturned. Last year, Vadala renovated the farm without a building permit or consent of all the landowners.
