Insurer Kooperativa faces lawsuits over its Arca Capital investments
Insurer Kooperativa faces lawsuits of its clients who lost money in unit linked insurance plans that invested in Arca Capital (Rastislav Velič) bonds. The central bank NBS has said that Kooperativa erred with this product. The insurer claims that it can’t be held responsible for Arca's problems and clients bear risks. Still, it created a €2.8m reserve for lawsuits. The number of clients and their losses have not been disclosed.
