Icelandic Marel expands in Nitra

Marel, an Icelandic maker of fish, poultry, and meat processing machinery, plans to invest €8m to expand its plant in Nitra and create 240 jobs. Last year, the plant increased its net profit by 20% to €1.7m and sales rose 20% to €56.8m. It employs 400.
