House prices already down 9%

Prices of residential real estate came to €2,498 per sqm in the second quarter and were 2.3% lower compared to the previous quarter and 6.5% lower under an annual comparison, reported the central bank NBS based on prices in advertisements. Prices have already fallen 9% since the peak last summer, mainly due to expensive mortgages.
