Home Credit acquired Slovak branch of Cetelem

Home Credit, owned by Czech group PPF (Renáta Kellnerová), has acquired the Slovak branch of consumer lender Cetelem, part of France's BNP Paribas. Cetelem stopped making new loans here last April and is now selling existing loans. It is also pulling out of Romania and Bulgaria, failing to reach sufficient size there, either.
