Higher payroll levies no longer on the table

Higher pensions for parents of working children will be financed in ways other than higher payroll levies, said Labor Minister Milan Krajniak (Sme rodina). He disclosed no details. Employers oppose his proposal for lifting caps on the payment of pension levies, and labor unions do not agree with the proposed parental pension bonus. Other coalition parties also rejected Krajniak’s pension reform draft.
