Government manages to reduce abuse of sick leaves

The number of sick leave cases in companies was 12% lower annually in December and 11% lower in January, Labor Minister Erik Tomáš said. He sees this as a result of the new tools to fight sick leave abuse he gave to doctors. He introduced them as many companies, mainly construction ones, report 3-times longer sick leave in the winter months compared to the yearly average.
