Elkem Carbon acquired domestic producer of carbon materials VUM

In June, Norwegian company Elkem Carbon acquired the domestic producer of carbon materials VUM Žiar nad Hronom. The company increased its net profit 16% to €1.5m last year and its sales grew 42% to €33.2m. Its production capacity is 40,000 tons of products per year.
