Budimex, subsidiary of Ferrovial of Spain and the largest Polish infrastructure builder, submitted the lowest bid in the tender to build the D1/D4 highway junction, €110.9m. NDS, the highway company, put Strabag-Porr second and Váhostav came in third. NDS expected a price of €127m. If there is no appeal, the contract can be signed quickly. Budimex then wants to build the junction in three years. (dennikN.sk)
Initially, Doprastav offered a price of €85m but withdrew it later. After the Russian invasion, it would not be able to keep the price.
