dm drogerie markt continues to expand in Slovakia
German retailer dm drogerie markt increased its Slovak sales by 23% to €428m in the financial year to the end of September 2023. It invested €19.9m, of which €14.3m went on its branch network. It invested €0.7m in IT and €4.8m in the central warehouse. In 2024, it plans to pilot self-service checkouts in selected stores. It will call a tender for the transport of goods. It will start selling over-the-counter medicines and increase the number of stores by five to 163.
