Corruption perceiption improved rapidly after Robert Fico left government
Corruption is thriving across the world, according to Transparency International's latest Corruption Perceptions Index. Slovakia's position in the ranking has improved rapidly since Robert Fico left government, from 60th place in 2020 to 47th last year. Ukraine moved from 144th in 2013 to last year's 104th. Ranking of countries in the Corruption Perceptions Index (scores 0-100 in brackets, where 100 indicates no corruption):
