Kooperativa became the market leader in terms of underwritten premiums for the first time ever in the first half of this year, insurers’ union Slaspo reported. Premiums and market shares in the first half:

NN €71.1m 5.3%

Kooperativa dominates in life insurance (30.7% market share), while in non-life insurance it is second to Allianz-SP (29.9%).

Last year, Kooperativa entered the pension management market when it acquired pension manager 365.life.
