Companies will have to accept cashless payments
Finance Minister Kamenický presented new measures to combat tax evasion. One long term measure is eFaktúra, in which companies will first send invoices to the tax office FS and then to their clients. From 2026, the customer's right to choose the method of payment will be introduced, also in marketplaces, either in cash or electronically, not only by card, but also by using a QR code and a payment app. Another measure will be a software-based eKasa (without the need for special hardware). If a vehicle is used for both business and private purposes, only a partial VAT refund will be allowed. FS will have an online access to the truck toll system and will monitor the flow of trucks.
