Companies are having trouble filling seasonal jobs over the Christmas season, says staffing agency Grafton. Slovaks are interested in part-time jobs, but companies prefer full-time workers. The trouble may also stem from companies still offering last year's wages, despite rising inflation. In the past, most of the part-timers were students and pensioners; now they include many women from Ukraine. Most job offers are in logistics and retail.
