Car dealers consolidate

PMÚ, the anti-trust authority, okayed a deal under which Soria (Ján Kasper) is to acquire Autocentrum Nitra (Stanislav Rusko). (antimon.gov.sk) Autocentrum Nitra sells Hyundai and Toyota cars. Last year, its net profit increased by 44% to €1.2m and its sales were up 32% to €28.1m. Kasper acquired car dealer PPC Team plus (Toyota and Lexus brands) last year. His other firms, Autopolis, ANRAcar, and Auto BNP sell the Nissan, Seat, Cupra, Hyundai, and Ford brands.

PMÚ is reviewing a deal in which car dealer Autoštýl (Anton Závodský) is buying a smaller competitor TT-Car (Patrik Blechárž and Martina Stachová). (antimon.gov.sk) Autoštýl also acquired a Renault dealer in Bratislava in 2021. Last year it had €48.3m in sales. TT-Car had sales of €14.3m last year.
