Arca Capital Slovakia filed for debt restructuring at a Slovak court. It says it will return more than 50% of its debts to creditors. The Arca Capital group owes about €900m and has already defaulted on €380m bills and unspecified volume of bank loans. It filed for debt restructuring as its temporary creditor protection runs out at the end of January. Czech courts have already turned down two attempts for debt write-off by Arca Investments, another Arca Capital Slovak subsidiary. Companies under the group’s control employ 10,000.
