Airvolute (Lukáš Palkovič and Jozef Rodina) makes components for autonomous drones. It employs 21 developers who are perfecting, for example, control units for drones that allow them to fly without GPS. Major customers include Quantum Systems, Tekever, and the armies of NATO countries. Over three years, it has raised €1.6m from Vision Ventures, a Slovak fund, in the form of equity and debt. It will launch another investment round in the second half of this year.
