Chinese Zhenhua Data has been collecting information about Slovaks

Chinese firm Zhenhua Data has been collecting information about people and institutions from all over the world and providing it to Chinese institutions. Its database has entries on 2.4m people, including 344 Slovaks. They are split into three categories: politically exposed persons, their relatives, and people of special interest. Besides diplomats and politicians, such as Justice Minister Mária Kolíková (Za ľudí), the database includes sentenced businessman Mikuláš Vareha, tennis player Dominika Cibulková and bishop Milan Chautur. The database does not include any private data and is based on open sources, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
