Jaguar Land Rover delayed new model to be made in Nitra
British car maker Jaguar Land Rover has delayed the launch of a smaller 3-door version of its Defender model, only produced in Nitra, by six months, according to Automotive News Europe. The Nitra plant will therefore not start production of the new model this year, due to pandemic-induced restrictions in its supply chain. The plant makes the Defender and Discovery models and is still not running at full speed; it has a backlog of 20,000 orders for Defender.
