EC says no to subsidies to companies with links to tax havens

The European Commission has recommended that member states do not grant financial support to companies with links to tax havens or to those convicted of financial fraud, corruption, or dodging taxes. It admits the EU will allocate exceptional amounts of state aid to companies in the aftermath of the pandemic. It is up to national governments to design specific measures to prevent fraud.
