Companies to sue the state over pandemic restrictions
Some companies are preparing lawsuits against the state to obtain compensation for compulsory closure during the pandemic. They complain the state assistance came too late and was insufficient. AZZZ, a business lobby group, called on the government to adopt a law on compensation for the pandemic restrictions. The new law could prevent litigation and bring legal certainty.
In Czechia, lawyers are preparing tens of thousand of lawsuits seeking compensation for pandemic restrictions.
