Slovak game developers to increase sales 8% this year, to €55m
SGDA, the association of local games developers, expects sales of 55 Slovak game developers to increase 8% this year, to €55m. Their staff will increase 18% to 900. The sector is still dominated by Pixel Federation (Šimon Šicko) with 200 employees, despite a 47% drop in net profit to €2.4m and 6% drop in sales to €31.9m last year. Other large players include Superscale, Inlogic Software, and PowerPlay Studio. All the developers are working on games for global audiences.
