Mochovce delayed again
The Mochovce nuclear power plant’s third bloc will be launched in the second quarter of 2020 at the earliest, reckons the nuclear supervision authority ÚJD. The previous deadline was 1Q20. The delay comes as Slovenské elektrárne (SE) deals with issues revealed by testing the bloc. The fourth bloc will be delayed, too. Initially, it was to be launched one year after the third, but the gap might expand to two years as SE focuses on the third bloc. ÚJD would not comment on possible further budget overruns.
