Slovaks prefer benefits that provide them with greater freedom and flexibility
Of all employee benefits, Slovaks prefer those that provide them with greater freedom and flexibility. This leads to ever more companies providing flexible working hours and home office, according to data of the profesia.sk job portal. Fully 39% of workers in Bratislava have flexible working hours, compared to 30% in Košice and 19% in Prešov. The nation-wide share of workers with flexible working hours rose from 11% in 2017 to the current 14% and with home office from 23% to 27%.
