R-Glass, which has been operating glassworks in Katarínska Huta near Poltár since 2016 and is owned by Drahomíra Riečicová and Brigita Mrázová, plans to invest €2.5m into expanding production as well as storage capacity and new technologies. The investment will boost its production capacity by 30% and add 20 jobs to its current 160. Last year, the company doubled its net profit to €0.1m and its sales rose 10% to €5.1m. It focuses on machine-made glasses. Australian airline Qantas is among its customers. It will request a state investment incentive for the investment.
