LSE – Life Star Emergency will win licenses for running 120 emergency rescue stations

Local firm LSE – Life Star Emergency (Miroslav Micski) will win licenses for running 120 emergency rescue stations all over Slovakia, according to sources of the HN daily. At the moment, the company has 30 such licenses and is the market No.4. It benefits from the surprising decision by Danish firm Falck to withdraw from the Slovak market; Falck’s 107 licenses will expire next year. The health care surveillance authority ÚDZS has called tenders for all 328 stations and will announce the tender results shortly. LSE – Life Star Emergency doubled its net profit to €0.7m last year, and its sales rose 11% to €12.1m.
