Miroslav Výboh acquired Fokus eyewear store chains

MiddleCap Group, investment vehicle of Miroslav Výboh, has acquired Fokus eyewear store chains in Slovakia and Czechia. With 156 stores in both countries, it has become one of the market leaders in the CEE region. The Slovak chain with 66 stores improved its net profit 2% last year, to €0.5m, and its sales rose 7% to €12.0m. The combined sales of the Slovak and Czech companies came to €35m.
