SNS still supports the idea of the state energy holding

The coalition party SNS still supports the idea of the state energy holding, namely the gas utility SPP owning and managing the state’s stakes in other energy firms, such as distributors and heating firms. The Smer party came up with the idea in the previous election term but has not implemented it. It seems unlikely the coalition would create the holding by March 2020 general election, partly due to objections by the coalition party Most-Híd.
